Visit our spectacular NEW exhibition celebrating 75 years of the FIA Formula 1® Driver's World Championship. This exhibition features an extraordinary line-up of iconic cars, driven by legendary drivers plus over 60 exhibits including historic cars, race-worn suits, original trophies, and rare artefacts, offering an unparalleled journey through every decade of Formula 1®.
Scalextric and Top Trumps trail
The Silverstone Formula 1 Circuit has been recreated by Scalextric for a exhibit which enables visitors to enjoy epic battles with iconic cars around the two lane Grand Prix circuit. Each race tracks individual lap times, meaning you can race head-to-head or set a personal best! While admission is complimentary, we appreciate any donations towards our education workshops and outreach initiatives.

The Ultimate Sim Suite Adventure
Immerse in the thrill of racing at our Sim Suite, a state-of-the-art simulator arena driven by cutting-edge technology. Take the wheel and navigate the renowned Silverstone circuit in a dynamic 30 minute session - this is a great family activity that all ages will enjoy. Please note height restrictions apply. Secure your spot online in advance to ensure you don't miss out on the excitement!
Free educational activity
This Summer, join our Education Officers for a hands-on activity! This workshop lets kids design and build their own historic balloon-powered cars using materials like cardboard, cups, wheels, and straws. Once finished, test your creation on our mini racetrack to see how far it can go or challenge others for some friendly competition.
Perfect for ages 5 and up, with younger siblings welcome to join in. Everyone gets to take their car home as a keepsake.
Please note this activity is included with museum entry ticket.
