WW2 Vehicles on Display – A Living Tribute Ahead of Remembrance Sunday

On Thursday 8 November, the Museum will host a special outdoor event marking Remembrance in a powerful and engaging way.

We are honoured to welcome the WW2 Allied Vehicle Group, who will be bringing an impressive collection of authentic Second World War military vehicles to display outside the Museum.

This living history experience offers more than just a visual spectacle – visitors will also have the opportunity to view a selection of WW2 aircraft and crew memorabilia, and to speak with passionate experts, some of whom will be dressed in period military uniforms, ready to share the stories behind the machines and the brave individuals who operated them.

This event is free to attend, and everyone is welcome – whether you're a history enthusiast, looking for a meaningful way to mark Remembrance, or simply curious to learn more.
