Silverstone Museum Unveils Landmark Exhibition Celebrating 75 Years of Formula 1®

Silverstone Museum has officially launched a spectacular NEW exhibition celebrating 75 years of the FIA Formula 1® Driver's World  Championship, marking a major milestone in motorsport history. The exclusive exhibition – a first-of-its-kind for the museum – opened to the public on 13th May 2025, exactly 75 years to the day since Silverstone hosted the first ever Driver's World Championship Grand Prix in 1950.

This exhibition features an extraordinary line-up of iconic cars, driven by legendary drivers. The anniversary exhibition features over 60 exhibits including historic cars, race-worn suits, original trophies, and rare artefacts, offering an unparalleled journey through every decade of Formula 1®. Visitors can expect to see an extraordinary mix of classic and contemporary racing machines, from the legendary Lotus 72 to the 2023 F1 Mercedes.

Running until the end of September 2025, this special showcase offers visitors an immersive and historic motorsport experience located right beside the world-famous Silverstone Grand Prix circuit.
