LOW REVS Is Back for 2026 – Sensory Friendly Sessions

8th Jan 2026

Silverstone Museum is proud to offer LOW REVS – Sensory Friendly Sessions, designed to create a more relaxed and accessible museum experience for visitors with neurodiverse conditions and other sensory processing difficulties, along with their families and carers.

What to expect

During LOW REVS sessions, the museum environment is thoughtfully adapted to reduce sensory overload and help visitors explore at their own pace.

Visitors can expect:

  • Relaxed opening hours

  • Reduced visitor numbers

  • Lower sound levels throughout the museum

  • Minimised visual effects

  • Increased lighting where possible

  • Understanding and supportive staff on hand

These sessions are designed to offer a welcoming, calm experience while still allowing visitors to enjoy the full story of British motorsport.

Who are these sessions for?

LOW REVS sessions are suitable for:

  • Visitors with autism

  • People with sensory sensitivities or processing differences

  • Families, carers, and support workers accompanying visitors

There is no requirement to provide proof of need — everyone attending is welcome to engage with the museum in the way that feels most comfortable for them.

Next session

Saturday 7th February 2026

Spaces are limited to maintain a relaxed atmosphere, so booking in advance is recommended.
