Heritage Track Trail
The Heritage Track Trail is back for 2026, with more content than ever before!
On our brilliant outdoor Heritage Track Trail you will see and learn about the current circuit – and even walk on parts of the original grand prix circuit! There are signs along the trail which will give you more information about the rich history at Silverstone, including memorable stories from racing past, and the opportunity to walk on the original circuit
We have an all new route mapped out, giving you a first hand experience of all the history this iconic venue has to offer. Open from 11am to 4pm, the Heritage Track Trail takes you to:
- Bridge Corner
- BRDC Farm
- KART Silverstone
- Wellington Straight
- Luffield Corner
*Access to THE HERITAGE TRACK TRAIL is included in your ticket to the museum but please note that the Trail may be closed on certain days during the year due to Major Events and/or Health & Safety reasons and/or at the request of Silverstone Circuits Ltd who own the land. Please check in advance of booking if you would like to go on this walk or speak to a team member on the day of your visit.

The Heritage Track Trail app is a popular addition to your museum experience. The app guides visitors around the retired section of the track on the Heritage Track Trail, giving insight into the history of the corners. This features footage of racing action at Silverstone as well as interviews and stories from circuit staff and marshals. Visitors can also explore how the circuit has changed through rubaway archive photography.
