Silverstone Museum invites visitors to join us on Saturday 18th October 2025 for a special Research Forum, hosted as part of the celebrations marking 75 years of the FIA Formula 1 Drivers’ World Championship.
Supported by the British Society of Sport History (BSSH), this unique event will bring together leading academics to present research on the history, culture, and global significance of Formula 1.
Taking place at the home of the very first World Championship Grand Prix in 1950, the Research Forum offers a rare opportunity to explore the sport from fresh perspectives, delving into its engineering innovations, cultural impact, and international legacy.
