Education Groups
Silverstone Museum offers an interactive and engaging visit to all educational groups. Focussing on STEM and History, we aim to bring learning to life and inspire the next generation. School & Education groups can explore the 4000m2 exhibition, that will take them on an exciting journey through the past, present and future of Silverstone and British motor sport. Learn about the engineering and technology that has changed the world of motor sport in our Technology Lab, see real cars and bikes from the sports history, before exploring part of the retired circuit and see what’s racing around the track that day.
*We are unfortunately unable to guarantee track activity on any specific visit

STEM Workshops
Our engaging curriculum-focused workshops are run by our learning team in a dedicated learning studio overlooking the circuit. The workshops are designed to extend pupils’ learning during their visit and have a particular focus on STEM subjects. We explore the technology, design and science of race cars and also, for older pupils, we look at possible career options within STEM and motor racing.
At Silverstone Museum, we are proud to say that no two workshops are the same and we are happy to adapt the workshop content to meet your specific learning objectives – please discuss this when you make your booking. Workshops are available for all key stages from EYFS to Key Stage 5, with a maximum of 30 pupils per session (we can rotate sessions for larger groups).
Special Educational Needs and Disabilities
Silverstone Museum is fully wheelchair accessible, and we also have facilities and additional space available for those who require it. All of our workshops can be adapted to meet the specific requirements of your group, and many of our team are experienced in working with children and young adults with special educational needs and disabilities.
Please contact our Education Team at learning@silverstonemuseum.co.uk to discuss your group’s requirements, and we’ll be happy to discuss ways in which we can support your visit.
