I am disabled, is there a charge for carers to come with me?

A free of charge (FOC) carer's ticket can be added to your booking online as required for each customer with a disability paying full price. You will be asked to provide proof of entitlement on entry to the Experience. We will accept the following documents:
– Letter/notice of entitlement for Disability Living Allowance/Personal Independence Plan
– Letter from your doctor
– Blue parking badge or Freedom Pass

Yes, you can change your visit date online for a £5 booking fee, subject to availability, here. Please note that this must be done prior to your original visit date and tickets are non-refundable.

If you would like to change the timeslot on your visit date, you do not need to change your tickets. Please bring the original tickets with you on the day where the team will still accept these on arrival at the ticket desk.

Under normal circumstances we restrict entry to the Silverstone Museum during major events. If you would like to visit during these times you will be required to purchase a major event ticket and associated parking pass.  

Dates in 2023 where you will require an event ticket to enter the Museum:  

6 July - 9 July - Formula 1 Aramco British Grand Prix

4 Aug - 6 Aug - MotoGP

25 Aug - 27 Aug - Silverstone Festival

Our Heritage Track Trail will also be closed on the dates below however you do not require an event ticket to visit the museum. Parking on these dates may not be immediately in front of the museum. 

7 April - 9 April - Bennetts British Superbike Championship

23 Sept - 24 Sept - British Touring Car Championship


During the circuit’s smaller events, there is no requirement for you to purchase an event ticket. However, if you’d like to extend your visit to Silverstone and watch some live racing on track then you will be able to purchase tickets via www.silverstone.co.uk

We recommend allowing at least three hours for your visit, but no time limit is imposed. Last entry is two hours before closing time.

We offer a free carer ticket to anyone accompanying a person with a disability.

Group bookings and Corporate packages are also available.

Children under the age of five are free and children under the age of 16 qualify for a child discount.
