About Us

Opening our doors for the first time in autumn 2019, we bring the fascinating story of Silverstone and its association with British motor sport to life through a dynamic, interactive and compelling visitor experience, all housed in a restored WWII aircraft hangar. Whether it’s immersing our visitors in our journey from a Benedictine Monastery to WWII airbase and finally the home of British motor sport, to getting up close and personal to some of the world’s best racing cars and motorcycles, plus walking part of the former F1 circuit, we offer a diverse and multi-experiential day out.

Set up as a charitable Community Benefit Society, our mission goes way beyond simply running an awe-inspiring visitor attraction. We have a strong commitment to preservation, conservation, education and inspiring the next generation in the world of science, technology and engineering.

About You

We’re looking for an experienced HR professional with a background in generalist HR functions and, ideally, volunteer coordination. You’ll bring a solid understanding of employment law and HR best practices, with proven experience in delivering effective people support. A CIPD qualification at Level 3 or above—or a willingness to work towards one—is highly desirable.

Experience engaging and supporting volunteers is an advantage, particularly with knowledge of safeguarding, equality, and inclusion in a volunteer context. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential, as is the ability to handle sensitive situations with professionalism and discretion. We’re seeking someone who is approachable, proactive, and committed to fostering a positive and inclusive workplace culture.

Experience in a visitor attraction or similar public-facing environment is useful but not essential. We also welcome applications from candidates interested in working part-time (0.8 FTE).
