Part-Time Visitor Experience Duty Manager
We’re Silverstone Museum, located trackside at the world-famous Silverstone Circuit, and we are looking for a proactive Visitor Experience Duty Manager to lead daily front-of-house operations and ensure every visitor enjoys an exceptional experience.
About The Role
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily museum operations as the senior person on site
- Deliver staff briefings and support the frontline team
- Manage visitor issues and ensure a welcoming, safe environment
- Conduct building, exhibition and safety checks
- Support event and venue hire setup
- Lead emergency responses and act as part of the first-aid team

We bring the fascinating story of Silverstone and its association with British motor sport to life through a dynamic, interactive, and compelling visitor experience, all housed in a restored WWII aircraft hangar.
From our journey as a Benedictine Monastery to a WWII airbase, and ultimately the home of British motor sport, our museum offers a rich, multi-sensory day out. Visitors can explore historic racing cars and motorcycles, step onto part of the original Grand Prix circuit, and immerse themselves in motorsport history through cutting-edge exhibitions and storytelling.

About You
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in visitor services, hospitality, museums or similar roles
- Confident communicator with strong leadership skills
- Calm, proactive and solutions-focused
- Flexible to work weekends and event days
