Coronavirus update

3rd Feb 2020

The safety and wellbeing of staff and visitors to The Silverstone Experience is our main priority. We are closely monitoring the situation around the Covid-19 coronavirus and following the advice of Public Health England in order to take all necessary precautions to ensure the continued welfare of everyone on site.

The Silverstone Experience is currently operating as normal and we have implemented an enhanced cleaning programme in order to minimise the risk of contagion. Additional hand sanitisers have been placed around the building and we are encouraging our visitors to use them regularly. Our building covers a space of 4000m2 so visitors can enjoy the attraction without being in close proximity to other guests. As a regional museum, our visitors largely travel from the local area.

Whilst on site, we would ask our visitors to adopt the advised simple measures to help prevent spread of COVID-19, which include:
• Regularly washing your hands with soap and hot water or hand sanitiser gel
• Avoiding touching your eyes, nose or mouth if your hands are not clean
• Covering your mouth and nose with a tissue or sleeve if you cough or sneeze
• Immediately putting used tissues into a bin

If you are visiting The Silverstone Experience and feel unwell whilst on site, please contact a member of staff immediately, but maintaining a safe distance if possible.

If you are unsure about planning a visit in advance, please note that advanced tickets can be booked up until midnight on the day before arrival. If you have been recently travelled to an affected area, we encourage you to visit at a later date or if you already have tickets, to postpone your booking by emailing bookings@silverstone-experience.co.uk.

We would politely ask that any visitors who have recently travelled to infected areas or who are showing symptoms associated with the virus, kindly do not visit The Silverstone Experience in order to protect our guests and staff. For information on what to do if you have concerns, please go to www.gov.uk/guidance/coronavirus-covid-19-information-for-the-public

We appreciate your understanding and cooperation.
